Welcome to our ground floor ocean front condo, โ€œOhana Sunsetโ€ at Pohailani #102. We are only 10 Ft from the water! Located in Kahana, between Kaโ€™anapali and Kapalua, it is the perfect condo for a couple. With the ocean at your back door, you will awaken to soothing waves, rainbows and afternoon tropical trade winds. Sea turtles feed daily upon the rocks and whales pass by during the winter months (December-April). Our condo faces due west so every evening has a breathtaking Maui sunset. The unobstructed view of the Molokaโ€™i and Lanai islands is unmatched. The nighttime sky is a beautiful canvas of shining stars.

Our condo has a full kitchen and is furnished with a queen size bed and a sofa bed. (Sofa bed linens will be provided upon request.) You have two tables for dining: one inside with ocean views and another on the lanai. There is an umbrella and chaise lounge for your relaxation. โ€œOhana Sunsetโ€ is part of Pohailani Maui which features 2 swimming pools, a tennis court, basketball hoop and gas barbecue grills. A secluded beach is located just north within a minutes' walk. Our condo has a large quiet AC and a ceiling fan. It also has a 40โ€ flat screen T.V. with cable. No stairs to carry your suitcases or groceries up. It is a wonderful and amazing place to enjoy your vacation. This unit comes with an assigned parking space, located in Stall #87.

Kahekili Beach Park (Airport Beach): generally calm conditions, excellent snorkeling and swimming, public restrooms, BBQ grills and large grassy area
Honokowai Beach Park: great for snorkeling due to shallow, reef protected beach, Childrenโ€™s playground area, plenty of shade, tables and BBQ grills
Pohaku Park (S-Turns): calmer during summer months, sandy and rocky shoreline, picnic tables

Was initially going to stay at a large resort. Great decision to stay here! The room is very clean and quaint. We drove clockwise around West Maui Mountains and took in a snorkeling trip along the way. The main loop road eventually transitions into 1 lane and is very narrow, though it is worth it. Beautiful rock beaches and cliffs. Stunning scenery all the way. Snorkeled at Molokini, a must do. Waves were a bit rough, but was well worth it! Could see at least 100 feet deep or so. Great trip. The unit was so relaxing and comfortable. It was perfect for the two of us. Had everything we could need! Loved having a kettle and toaster for tea and toast. The decorations were calm, friendly, and beachy. Loved the proximity of the sea turtles and the private patio. We really liked that this unit was tucked away from the main road, that we had very close parking, and that the neighbors were so quiet and respectful. All we could hear was the ocean. We also liked not having to go down halls and lobbies like at a big resort, very private.

Wonderful seaside tranquility

This was one of the loveliest places I've ever stayed - primarily because of its location on the seawall. It's convenient to other wonderful places in Lahaina, has comfortable accommodations, and - best of all - has the best views of any place on Maui - whales, turtles, birds, the other islands. A wonderful place.

Great location and view

Had a great stay. Place was perfect for two. Had everything we needed. Lots of dishes and towels, everything was clean and orderly. Management company difficult to reach and did not confirm we had check in instructions. When calling them at 4:05 pm no answer and no room left to leave a voice mail. When we did leave a voice mail we never received a call back to confirm we were able to get into the unit.

This was my third booking with Chase'N Rainbows. The location was easy to find and access no problem. The equipment was useful and the studio clean. In lower level, the privacy was not so proper than accommodations in higher levels. I know this studio was booked by myself. In future I like units in a higher position.

Had an amazing view right out the back door and was close enough to everywhere we wanted to go yet far enough away that you didn't feel right in the middle of it all. The rental was very reasonably priced. Great views of the ocean and amazing sunsets every evening from the lanai. The ocean is literally 10 feet from the Lanai. The Studio is smaller but excellent for 2 people. The decor is very Hawaiian. I would stay they again 100% well worth the price and location.

Wonderful Maui Retreat

We loved staying here for a number of reasons - the beautiful views, proximity to brewpubs and restaurants, but mainly for the turtles and the sunsets. So many turtles sampling the "salad bar" on the seawall right outside our door. It was a magical experience.

Amazing View and Great Location

This place is as beautiful in person as the pictures show. The location is great and you truly have everything you need to have a great stay. The views are incredible, especially the sunsets! The only negative comment I have is the large amount of bugs in the kitchen. We had to wash everything that we needed to use and that was an inconvenience. The rest of the condo was very clean.

Lovely accommodations

We really enjoyed the condo, the location, the layout and access to a full kitchen and supplies. The onsite bbq was a bonus. And the sunsets were breathtaking. Often in these situations you'd find some supplies left from past guests, including pepper or butter. Not in this case, you need to bring or buy everything.I would have given 5stars except people would often walk in front of the patio and sit directly outside on the cement wall, drinking, smoking and talking away during mornings and evenings. We often had to keep the blinds close, losing the beautiful views.All-in-all it's a nice place to stay and I would recommend it.

We had a wonderful time in the condo! Listening to the waves every night was amazing! Very calming after a day out. Location was awesome, you are near everything! I would recommend to everyone! We are a family of 4 with a lil one and he even loved it. The sea wall was high enough we didn't have to worry.
