Paki Maui #109

This is a great little condo in one of the best areas on Maui. Wonderful restaurants near by. The condo was clean and well stocked.

We enjoyed our stay very much in this condo. The views were great and being able to sit on the lanai most of the day and watch the whales and waves was amazing. 

The view is fantastic, The unit was clean, spacious and updated. Enjoyed the pool, walks on the beach, and swimming in the ocean. I would recommend renting this unit at Paki Maui. The unit is located at the main level, making it ideal to walk out directly to the pool and the bbq's. Would definitely rent again.

The room is very nicely decorated.The kithcen is well stocked. We were very comfortable there. We always stay at Paki Maui and this was the first time in this unit. The view is great. We saw many whales. The lawn at Paki Maui is wonderful. Lots of lounge chairs to watch the sunset from. The tv was hard to navigate for us but the management company helped us and we got it working.

Very cute place! Layout was perfect. We only have one complaint! For some reason I didn’t get the code for the door so had to wait for two hours for someone to reply to my texted! Our stay was a beautiful experience! Thank you!

No a/c, we knew this coming in. We figured ehhh, we are on the ocean. It has a balcony we can leave the door open. No biggie. There was no cross breeze to reach the bedroom. We ended up sleeping on the hide away bed for the remainder of our stay. Eventually, we pulled out the portable a/c unit to evaporate some of the humidity in the air (which was a pain to set up and not to mention we had to go to hardware store to purchase an item to ensure the set up was proper, a couple of tracking pieces were broken). Other than warm nights, the unit was quiet, peaceful, mostly clean and cozy. A tad smaller than I had thought. The pictures are accurate though. Owner’s fridge went out prior to our stay. We were notified a mini fridge would be available for our use, we were good with that being just the two of us.

Close to everywhere we needed to be for the wedding, and shopping. Would stay again if we go in a cooler season. The view was absolutely gorgeous. We loved sitting on the beach.

For cleaning- Dusting lacked on ceiling fans and baseboards. Could use a sweeping under the couch as well.

Place was clean.

Property was oceanfront. It only took a few minutes to walk to the water.

Next door to a local park providing a sandy beach.

This is the place to be, everything is close by and Paki Maui #109 is excellent, beautiful beach front view , you cant beat this place

This was the perfect spot for me. I enjoyed the sounds of the ocean and the beautiful views of the sunsets and ocean. The place was very clean and I liked how it was decorated. It also had everything I needed (beach towels and beach umbrella). It was super convenient to walk to Bad Ass Coffee Cafe, the Farmers Market for Aa Bowls and Smoothies and Fresh Fish Tacos at the Fish Market. The food trucks was also within walking distance. Also, great places to swim and snorkel and shop were near by. I didnt want to leave

Where should I begin? Amazing views, and wonderfully appointed condo with up-to the-moment appliances, furniture and smart TV (not that we were watching TV all day - but what I would highly recommend is turning to iHeart Radio Hawaii No Ka Oi station while watching the sunset form the lanai!). Lots of cookware, dishes and glassware make cooking a breeze. Fans and the natural trade wind breeze keep the apartment nice and cool. And again you just cannot beat that view - and the ocean right there to jump into whenever you wish. Chase N Rainbows staff is super responsive and quick to assist with any questions or concerns. 100% recommend, and cannot wait to come back and stay in Paki Maui 109 again. Amazing experience.

Chase N Rainbows made booking very easy and was very good at communicating all info with us. They were very helpful and brought us beach towels to the condo upon arrival. The accomodation was great and better than we expected. An amazing view!! Thank you and Mahalo!

Second stay in Paki Maui 109. First was immediately after remodel. Two years later, we are back and enjoying this great location once more. First, the really good stuff. This is an older building, mid 70s, so it has some quirks. The rounded design is a great quirk in that it allows for wonderful views from even the most remote rooms. Our patio gave us almost unobstructed water views, and close ones. No more than thirty yards to the sea wall so the ocean is loud and proud all the time. Next complex does cut off a little view to the south, but not enough to matter. Kitchen has been updated with induction stove, micro/oven combination, a small dishwasher, and cabinets that open by lifting. Hinges are a bit fickle, so be careful to watch it doesnt close on you. It is a one person kitchen, but well designed, with great thought in design, as shown in the book on the tv cabinet. Nice table that folds out or can be folded in like a side table. Couch is the usual hide-a-bed, no better, no worse than most. Probably wouldnt put adults on it, but kids have no nerve endings. Bathroom is shower only, no tub, which is our preference. Takes a bit of dexterity to turn water on without getting wet, but it works well. Trick to maintain hot water is to not go full blast with water. Plenty of power. Bedroom is in back. Well appointed, again, with nice bed, attractive covers, lots of light once you figure out all the switches. Quirky again is the window with opening grids, which push the shade out a touch. Gives the folks on the walkway an interesting view, if you arent careful about the shade. The walkway is against the bedroom so there is some traffic noise, human traffic. Generally a quiet building after 10 pm and before 7 am, but folks do walk along outside your window. The lanai has a table with four chairs, nicely cushioned as well as a lounge chair. Great for whale watching or sleeping or whatever one wants. Due to location, the lanai is out of the prevailing wind, so afternoon sun can be wonderfully warm without being buffeted by the wind, which does happen out on the lawn. Sister-in-law and husband were in the unit next door, not a Chase N Rainbows property, and the differences are clear, with 109 vastly superior in fit and finish, also in service from Chase N Rainbows. Tile floor is a wonderful look, the entertainment center looks good, but why travel to Hawaii to watch television or DVDs? Also, there is a supply of beach reads in the drawers of the entertainment center. Now, the only downside, and I think this isnt an owner issue, nor a Chase N Rainbows issue. The bed itself is good. (Note, when we left we had spent 84 of the last 140 days in rentals, hotels, VRBOs, Paki Maui 109, and relatives basements, so we know beds) The sheets were difficult to adjust to, just because they were scratchy and the blanket under the beautiful comforter was also scratchy. Two things might cause that; age and laundering style. Maybe too old and too hot. Not sure. That really was our only downside. Love the place, love the view, appreciate the attention to detail in the remodel, love the response from Chase N Rainbows when weve been in contact, but didnt love the sheets. A true first world problem: scratchy sheets on a gorgeous rental location. Go figure.
