If you are looking for the quintessential Maui experience, this is it! We just returned from a week-long stay and already booked our return trip. You truly cannot get closer to the ocean—the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep every single night. excellent service from the Hosts Chase N Rainbows! ? The unit was spotless, and decorated with a beautiful island touch. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, including a blender for fresh smoothies. Close to every on the West side! Having a washer/dryer access was super convenient. The pool and BBQ area were well-maintained and quiet, offering a great spot to meet other friendly travelers. BUT SERIOUSLY, the ocean! ? The Turtles! ? The Whales! ? The Palm Trees! ? If you want an authentic, relaxing, and luxurious oceanfront experience, book this place before it fills up. Mahalo to the owners for an unforgettable stay! ?

Best place in maui!

We’ve stayed in 4 other places in the Maui Sands over the decades, and one other place on Maui. 5G is the best by far of all of them. The extra bathroom and laundry facilities are unique at the Maui sands. We stay there even if it’s only just my husband & me, though sometimes guests join us using the second bedroom. It’s feet from the water and the view can’t be beat. Watching the whales from “our” lanai brings us back to 5G every year.

We had the best view, beach front, of everyone that went on our trip. Everyone else commented that they would stay at our place next time they go. I found dealing with Chase 'n Rainbows to be a good experience. No complaints at all. Thank you for helping to make our vacation a good experience.

Our beach condo was wonderful. The view, location and the guest area’s were great. It is an older unit but everything worked fine. Only thing I would note is that it could use a good dusting. I would stay again and again.

The Ocean is Right There!

We didn't know what to do for our first trip to Maui as far as choosing a location to launch from. We found Chasing Rainbows and their large number of lodging possibilities and found a perfect spot for us to stay a week. We ended us staying at Maui Sands and it was awesome. The ocean was RIGHT THERE and the noise of the waves put us to sleep every night. The place was well appointed, it had a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and comfortable beds. The breeze normally blew right through the unit and kept it comfortable. The beach is not a wide sandy beach, but access to the water is easily found. One morning during high tide, we saw a sea turtle eating from the rocks right off our balcony. The location is excellent with lots to do nearby. The parking spot is shaded and easily accessed to the apartment. I would definitely stay here again

We absolutely loved our stay!

This place was great and highly recommend for two to three adults traveling together. The location could not be more perfect and the host was amazing to deal with. Everything was clean, the washer and dryer were a great perk and my god the views were amazing! Its so much better to go to a place like this than a hotel
