My wife and I have stayed at the villas 5 or 6 times and have always enjoyed it, but this time we feel that Condo E290 was without a doubt the very best condo yet. We really enjoyed our stay and we will return and hopefully we can get E290 again. My wife was hoping that the owners had a book to write comments in. This was our second time staying at the Maui Ka’anapali Villas, but the first time in this unit. Conveniently located by the pool with views of the ocean. Unit itself could use some repairs, but all very minor such as paint. Overall, great place for a couple. We had our teenage son with us who slept on the pullout and it got to be a bit tight. He is 6’5” so perhaps that had something to do with it (ha, ha). Price for the unit was exceptional, especially after hearing what other guests paid for their room while chatting at the pool.

Location!

The unit fitted us perfectly. Our patio overlooked the pool and we were only about 50 yards to a fantastic stretch of ocean. The unit could use a little facelift, but most vacationers don't spend much time indoors.

A few requests: fix the drain in the bathroom sink: there is no sink stopper in the kitchen to allow dish washing; the mattress on the bed needs an upgrade, the box that contains the bed is a hazard; directions are needed to operate the TV; the washing machine does’t work(our clothes were stuck for two days). Nice... but no TP?

Great location. We have stayed at Kaanapali Villas several times and we love the resort. This studio is very nice with both pool and ocean views. When we checked in late evening there was zero toilet paper and tissue paper in our unit. The front desk told us it was the management company's responsibility to provide those items, but did give us one roll of tp to get us through the night. I texted the management company (Chasin' Rainbows) and never got a reply. I then called and still nothing. So we had to go shop for toiletry items that are always included whenever we stay in a resort. I was disappointed in the service given by Chasin' Rainbows, but we otherwise enjoyed our stay.

Another Great Year.

This lovely unit is perfect for our needs.
Please note it lacks in several areas. The sliding Glass Doors are not in good shape. You can barely open the left door and if you do too much you can barely close it. The front louvered windows by the front door don't work. Therefore it's impossible to set up cross winds inside the unit leading to constant use of the air conditioning.
The bathroom needs a paint job. It has paint chips missing from the wall and this has been the case for at least the last 3 years. Keep in mind this is a murphy bed and it needs some foam pillows in addition to the ones there. They are a bit flat with no neck support.

Maui Kaanapali Villa #E290

We spent 4 weeks in Unit E290 and enjoyed it. Location within the resort is excellent, and the view from the doorwall/balcony is also excellent. We spent much time on the balcony. Shower/bathroom is nice, and bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the "living room" furniture that much as we spent nearly all our time within the unit on the balcony. Kitchen and appliances were good. The full wall of glass opening to balcony along with the window around the corner allowed much light inside. Small privacy issue with window and unit next door. Storage space for clothing is limited. Any hanging clothes must be hung in utility closet, sharing space with broom, dustpan, ironing board, etc. Dresser drawer space is also limited. It took a couple of days to get beach towels thru Chase"N Rainbows, and a minor maintenance issue (damaged recessed light in shower) remains unresolved. Both kitchen and bathroom cabinets below sink were "open" where plumbing goes thru wall. We took action with Maui Kaanapali Villas to have kitchen opening closed. Bathroom cabinet below sink still needs cabinet "backing" put on. The resort is quiet at night, and nicely located along Kaanapali Beach with good restaurant options in both directions. Overall, we thought the resort and unit were a very good value, and we would stay there again.

Relaxation and Comfort at MKV #E290

This was the perfect villa for the two of us! The villa was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and very clean. The lanai overlooked the walking trail and the pool. The complex grounds are beautiful. The onsite restaurant is awesome with great food, drinks and views. Beach chairs and were available in the villa for the beach that was not even 50 yards away. The walking trail is so convenient and easy to get to Kaanapali Beach or to Westin and Dukes. We loved this villa and we loved this property. Can't wait to return.

Gorgeous condo with spectacular views!

This condo was perfect! We have stayed at other condos on this property and this one was by far the best! Loved the views from the inside and the lanai. With it being a corner unit you can see the ocean from the front and side. We loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings and watching people on the walking path below. We had great views of the pool and the ocean. The sunsets were amazing! Loved that it had the murphy and sofa beds. The condo was well-furnished, clean and spacious. Lots of drawers and a closet for clothes. Also, the condo was in a great location-you can walk north or south and find great restaurants and activities. We would definetly book this condo again in the future!

Everything went smoothly. Property exactly as described. Perfect location with view of pool and ocean. Unit had everything we needed and more. Had a cooler, two smaller umbrellas, and some snorkel gear. A few chairs as well. I would recommend waiting to rent these things until you checkout what is there when you arrive. Beautiful ocean boardwalk and beach which goes for several miles. Would come here again.

Fantastic Property

This is a fantastic property if you like a roomy, super clean, comfortable condo in a great complex. It's a corner unit so you get more windows, a lot of light, and from the living and balcony you can look across the pool out to the ocean. The on-site restaurant, Castaways, has great food and amazing sunset views from their terrace. We will be going back.

Great location!

This place was the perfect location, near the beach, and the pool! We very much enjoyed staying here! It felt very spacious for a studio, and the Murphy bed and pull out couch were both very comfortable. The only downside was that the railing on the balcony is dangerously low and my 19 month old niece was staying with us and it made us very nervous. I wouldnt recommend this place for people with toddlers.

We have stayed in Maui Kaanapali Villas many times. Unit #E290 is excellent for two people, The nice remodeled interior is quite right for a vacation in the islands. Everything worked well and we enjoyed every morning a relaxed breakfast on the balcony. The beach in front of the property is excellent and we love it. We believe tha this condo is the best choice in Ka'anapali and therefore we will book it once more for November 2016. Inge and Paul Tresselt, Neuss, Germany
