Minutes to great beaches!

We stayed with our 2 year old and it was the perfect location. Minutes to great beaches and great food. We were there for the big rain storm and access to the spa and pool was incredible important. The beach is beautiful but the amount of sand varies widely from day to day and with the tides.

Everything was great during our stay!

Every thing was great during our stay and they were very responsive. It was an easy walk to restaurants and a supermarket. The only negative was the noise from the parking lot and street. This was beyond their control and just a result of how the condos and others like them were built. The negative was not enough to impact my 5-star review though. I would go there again!

Nice condo in a great location,

Nice condo in a great location, we had a great time with our kids. There's a nice lawn between the building and the ocean, ending with a seven feet tall wall drop and a tiny sandy beach underneath during low tides. During high tides waves crash against the wall. The second entrance to the unit, from the ocean side, and the breakfast/rest area by it, felt pretty secluded behind thick vegetation. The unit was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. A small inconvenience was the lack of locks on the bathroom doors so we agreed between us to keep one door open when the bathroom was empty.

Wonderful Place

We loved our room, it had everything we needed except a can opener. But we had a lot of towels, a lot of toilet paper, a lot of dishwasher pods and clothes detergent. The dishes and cups were adequate and overall we loved it. One bad thing is that we could not get down to the ocean unless we jumped down a big wall and landed on the sand and then rolled. Once we were down there we could not get back up unless somebody helped us. Ocean access is nonexistent unless you have a ladder or your half monkey. We will come back once the tide settles down and brings back the sand so that we can walk onto the beach again.

Canadian Family Enjoying Maui

Fantastic beautiful location. Well equipped suite. Had lots of beach equipment (some broken and should be thrown out). Lots of room for a good sized family. Value was great. The suite is close to parking lot, elevator and road out front. Was noisy from 4am a few days with people early checkouts headed to the airport and loud vehicles. I would stay again as the main floor access to pool and beach cannot be beat.

Very nice condo and in a great location. Chase'N Rainbows is a must stay place with the lanai looking out over the pool and ocean. The entire complex had a laid back atmosphere with excellent views!

Beautiful place and nice stay, but not great condition at move in

We had an overall great stay at this beautiful property, however, when we arrived for our check in time at 3 pm, the condo was not cleaned, and there was no cleaning crew around. There was trash in all of the rooms, the beds weren't made, and the place was all around messy. Once we finally contacted the property (they actually never responded through VRBO where we booked it, only through texting) a cleaning crew arrived, but we were not able to move into the condo until much later that afternoon than we had hoped due to this, which was very disappointing. Other than that our stay was great, and it is a very beautiful place right on the beach and the pool is lovely.

A very nice condo but badly needs updated kitchenware.

An excellent condo complex, and a very nice condo overall. Well furnished, updated and spacious. It was spotless when we arrived. There are a few maintenance items that need attended to though. The dinnerware was cheap and somewhat chipped, the glassware and flatware were on cheap side and somewhat sparse. The patio door would frequently lock shut requiring several minutes of jiggling it to get it to open, even when maintenance “fixed” it, the issue returned after a few days.

Might as well call it “Turtle” beach

We celebrated Christmas 2021 here. We could see the ocean and whale spouts from the kitchen. Larry, the property manager, keeps the pool and hot tub impeccably clean. There was 1-4 see turtles on the beach every afternoon/night. The room was clean, plenty of blankets and towels. Location is close to plenty of restaurants and shopping.

Awesome repeat stay

We have stayed at the Hale Mahina six plus visits to Maui. The location is perfect and the grounds are superior. We did have a problem with ghost ants which was addressed immediately, but don’t forget your on an island. The unit we stayed in is due for a new washer and dryer.

This is the Best Place Ever.

We love Hale Mahina and always stay here when we come to Maui. The accommodations are perfect. The snorkling is fabulous when there wind conditions are low, The weather in September was a bit windy which made the water a bit rougher for snorkling in front of the condo but we just went down to Kahalui Bay. We always tell our friends about Hale Mahina and many of them have stayed here too and love it.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Hale Mahina. It was an excellent value and appreciated renting a full condo at an intimate complex instead of staying in a bedroom at a big resort. Liked walking directly out to the pool and beach from the lanai -- benefit of being on the first floor. I strolled to the farmers market and local fish market for food on occasion. And sat on the beach most days and read a nice book. People were friendly yet kept to themselves which I loved
