Thank you for traveling thru 2009 with us. It's been a year of new beginnings, (our first African American President was sworn into office), of stress and strain (our economic 'climate' as we like to refer to it has been, well, a little less than sunny), and lastly a year where no matter what, at day's end, we can all STILL be hopeful that tomorrow is a new day. We WILL overcome as we have in the past. We always do.

Some of the staff here at Chase 'N Rainbows wanted to share with you, our valued friends and guests, their gratitude, for what a year it has been!

Mindy - "I am so very thankful for the continued love and support from family, friends and my incredible staff. It has been a very long journey this past year but I am looking forward to new beginnings and great opportunities in 2010."

Leslie -"I'm grateful for too many things to mention in one sitting. Mostly I am grateful for the perspective I have that allows me to recognize the gifts in my life, large and small and for the patience and understanding that the universe bestows on me so I can know the difference between 'life is good' and 'hey, things could be worse'. I am grateful for my partner and best friend and my 4 babies (dogs of course) who remind me every time I walk in the door, that love is pure."

Sandra - "I'm very grateful for living a happy life and I'm especially thankful for my loving husband Chris, for my family, my hanai family, my work family and all my friends. Without them life would not be so wonderful."

Jill - "This past year has been challenging, stressful and rewarding with the implementation of our new reservation software V12 and with the improvements to our website search features. Although the economy was slow overall, it was the perfect time for us to implement the new software and to continue to look for new and exciting ways to market our condos and to get the word out to the world that Chase 'N Rainbows is the best source to rent a West Maui condo from.

I am also thankful for the extraordinary efforts of the reservations team who put in the extra time and hours to get all the data into the new software. I also appreciated everybody's input on updating and improving our processes and we hope that the implementation of these new processes we will save a few trees as we have cut down on the amount of paper we use.

Overall I am excited and optimistic about the future of Chase 'N Rainbows. With many companies closing down I feel that we are in an excellent position for growth in the near future. All things to be thankful for... that and the health and happiness of my family!"

Lani - "I bless the things I have. That my children are well and healthy. I have had a good year-got married, purchased a home and I am still employed. These days, these are things that I am definitely thankful for."

Linda - "I am certain my list could go on and on, but, I will try to make it short. First and foremost I am grateful for my most wonderful husband, Scott. My heart is full (under this first item would be an unending list as to why I am grateful for him). I am grateful for my health of course, so very blessed there. My move to Maui some 28 years ago was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Living on this beautiful island is absolutely wonderful and now that I've found a fabulous place to work, (and I mean it when I say it doesn't get much better than working with Mindy and Jeff). I count my blessings every single day. Lastly, as it is difficult to keep this short, I am extremely grateful for the many angels we all find along our way, the people who suddenly appear in our lives who offer a gift of kindness, warmth, or love, for no reason but to give. I love that expression, "pay it forward", it all comes back around. Happy Holidays and Aloha oe!"
